Lower back pain after vomiting?

I kind of overdid it on the drinks on friday, and spent the early hours of saturday vomiting as a results (whoops). Consequently, sunday i was ok again, but today i woke up with (literally), the most horrible lower back pain, starting on my left side but then moving more central throughout the day. It was most acute this morning and has since developed into more of a dull ache in the centre. Could it be like a delayed reaction from the puking 3 days ago? or is it just one of those random back pains. I've never suffered from any sort of back pain before.

It's probably where to bent over to be sick. It'll fade. Take ibuprofen, use hot water bottles on it. It'll go soon enough.

Probably pulled a muscle. When you cough a lot with a chest infection you frequently pull your latissimus dorsi muscle, meaning you get aching in your lower back. With vomiting having the same kinds of movements as a cough, i would imagine you have done the same thing. It will probably go in a few days.

depends how long you were being sick for.

I hit my head after falling off my BMX once and i was being sick for days on end in hospital. My back was ****** too not only from the fall but apparently from tensing muscles when your actually being sick.

Posture and little exercises make it a lot easier.
