The pill, if taken improperly, can cause bleeding. I had to come off microgynon or whatever because I was on a constant light period!
If you're not on it already, I reccommend changing to Yasmin.

is yasmin virtually the same?

There are lots of different pills to try, just because Yasmin worked for you it doesn't necessarily mean it's going to work for Monkey Maiden.

After only 3 months of use your body is still not properly adjusted to the additional hormones you're pumping it with. Running packs together to avoid a bleed works for most people, but not all. Due to lack of adjustment, sometimes people still bleed even if they run packs together because natural body hormones just cause the womb to shed.

I wouldnt worry about it. It didn't work this time. As long as you're not having any other problems with microgynon I'd stick with it for a bit longer and maybe try not to run packs together for another couple of months. This is probably what the doctor would tell you. If it still doesnt work out, there are 20+ different varieties of combined pill, each with different/different levels of hormones to try, to try and find one that suits you.

Yasmin has been specifically designed for young people, and with minimum side effects (tested). However, I agree that the side effects are different for everybody.

Nope. That's a stupid idea. How do you expect your body to get settled if you keep mucking it around. You need to take all 21 active pills to be protected. Technically stopping taking pills before the end of a pack is dangerous pregnancy wise and if you want the bleeding to stop you're not going the right way about it. Take the pills till sunday, take all 7 inactive pills and then go from there.
Good luck

if you dont take the entire packed as your supoes to, it does not work.

So, if your taking the pill to prevent pregnancy....and you dont take it right..theres no point taking it at all.
