Aston Or Royal Holloway ?

I've recieved all my six offers and its now time for me to choose the firm and the insurance ones.

My Offers :

Aston : ABB
Royal Holloway : ABB
Cardiff : BBB
Liverpool : BBB
Brunel : BCC
Hull : CCD

My insurance is definately Brunel with BCC.

Im stuck between Aston and Royal Holloway, Im an international student and I wana do my major in Business Management. I have the same program at both the unis.

From Overall rankings RHUL is in the lead, However in Business Aston has the lead by quite a margin.

Help me decide, Also just to let you guys know I wana do my Masters from either USA or Canada.

Royal Holloway!

I would go for Royal Holloway as the reputation is better than Aston.

Depends whether you want to live in London or Birmingham! Personally I wouldn't bother too much with "reputation" like most people do, but pick the one you think sounds the best to live at. There are often courses that are brilliant at one university whilst overall the place isn't that good. If you want to live in London (bearing in mind it will be a lot more expensive to do so) then go for RH. If you prefer Birmingham (or, like me, have a dislike of the pompous southeast not seeing outside the M25. Sorry, went off at a tangent there!) then go for Aston.

What a load of rubbish! For business Aston is rated one of the best and even though it has a crap overall rep and i dont really like the uni, its wayyyy better than RHUL...this was my impression as i considered applying for both. Plus its in a big city, whereas RH is in the middle of no where.

The thing is I didnt wana spend one of the three most important years of my life at a crappy place.

The life and the experience at RHUL looked much better to me.

People replying to this thread are biased as they will be going there..although if you've made up your decision, its your choice at the end of the day...however generally Aston would have been a better choice IMO.

Basically I went for the overall rankings, RHUL looked better.

Good choice. After all, apart from RHUL's excellent academic reputation on its own, remember also that it is part of the prestigious University of London.

Yeah because Birmingham city centre is soooo crap

From what I've heard Aston is really very good for management and improving all the time. Plus they have one of (if not the best) rates of graduate employment rates.

Although to be honest I know bugger all about Royal Holloway so I can't say you made the wrong choice cause at the end of the end ... it's all personal.

Royal Holloway, Cardiff, Liverpool or Hull (don't be fooled by Hull's low offer - it is a good uni).

Personally I wouldn't be keen on the other two.
