It also has some nice old buildings. I mean, some of it is the victorian houses, which they bought for some offices and tutor places i think, i wasn't really paying much attention when i was walking past. =P

got a conditional offer for Goldsmiths, think ive got the grades i need so shouuld definately be going. Well i hope so cos tuition fees go up loads more next year!!!lol!
I went down to Goldsmiths or the open day, it seemed really organised compared to some of the others id been to. Bit easier for me 2 visit as im from England but still not close. Dont really know London seems a big scary city to me! The area is rough, but i managed to survive two trips there! :smile:

All the Goldsmiths halls are close to the uni so transport isnt really an issue. THere are two train stations down the road (new cross and new cross gate) both just as far as each other form the uni, only takes about 20 mins (including a few changes on the underground) not even that, to get to Oxford Street to go shopping (not that the student loan will stretch that far!lol). Well, hope you've all got in n maybe see you in september
PS has n e 1 got a clue what date we start?

oh n forgot to say, there is a supermarket nearby so ya can get by for a while without having to go into the city, if ya not got much money left.
Oh n i hoping to go in En-suite mixed sex halls, couldn't do with sharing a bathroom or getting stuck with 8 other girls!lOL!

Im hoping to go to Goldsmiths in September to do Politics and History. I only need three C`s but though I`m likely to get at least B`s in two subjects I might get a D in the other so I dunno what`ll happen. Time will tell.

Maybe the kind of people who go to Goldsmiths are, on the whole, not computer literate. We may have to take it upon ourselves to teach them in September. Or maybe they`re too cool and arty to come on here. The possibilities are endless really.
