You'l pick up your keys at an accommodation office. But you'l enrol and register at the university, usually in the sports hall, but could be elsewhere this year. You will see masses of people queuing for it, from the first day of freshers, but they will give you information on where to go to register. You may want to go there looking pretty snazzy, as they will take your photo, and it will remain on your student card until the day you leave Brunel! I've seen some tragic ones haha
Does anyone know if the rooms have contents cover against theft or if we have to get our own insurance sorted?

haha, well! The film society used to be the only one which existed (my best friend is one of the presidents) but last september a few fresher's joined who used to get annoyed with the film choices and wanted to lead, so they decided to make their own film society lol! There isn't much of a difference, just that they're on different days of the week.
