Ive been on a gap year this year, so i had an unconditional offer. Said i wanted to live in standard room a few weeks ago and they emailed me the other day to offer me a room there. Though it wasnt really an offer they just allocated me it, dont know what would have happened if i said no.. They offer people with unconditional offers accomodation in July and the rest soon as possible after A Level results come out i believe. No need to worry, i'm sure it's just a matter of time before you hear from them.
Has anyone else completed their "Online Registration Task"

I received the email from Brunel a few days ago, and I have completed most of it apart from the photograph.

I have a fringe and was wondering if they would allow me to keep it in the photo or if I have to push it back?? .. I have emailed them but they take ages replying lol

Hi

I received my email yesterday and completed all but one - uploading my photo. It says in the email that your face should not be obsured by your hair. However, I am unsure if this relates to having a fringe. My advice would be to ring or email the admissions department.

Good luck

If you go onto the uploading a photo as a file, it says what they want. It's basically a passport photo really.

Well my passport photo is me with my fringe pushed back (I haaaate it) ... which is why I wanted my fringe, thankfully Brunel has accepted it.

its on any letter brunel has sent you...it is about 7 numbers and it is not the same as your UCAS number. You can e-mail the accomadation office and ask them for it thats what I did when I was applying for accomadation and they sent it to me within 3 hours.

What's the difference because I know we learn about Europe and America and you can choose to do things like the middle east crisis etc?

The main difference in the first year appeared to be that you guys do British politics and we didn't. It gets more 'refined' in the second and third years though.

I was looking at some bad reviews yesterday, both on here and on another (admittedly cheap looking) site. It was a shock cos when I first visited it I never expected to find it as nice as I did, and I've heard loads of good things about it, according to the league tables it is actually a better place to study politics than Royal Holloway, which is saying something. But I'm not concerned about what a few douchebags say on the internet, so already I'm quite proud to say I'm a Brunel Student.
