My biology lessons have come back to me lol...basically some nerves in your body have a myelin sheath (which is basically blocks of protective stuff around your nerves with gaps between each block) and others don't. While nerve impulses travel down myelinated nerves at 100 metres per second, they only travel down non myelinated nerves at around 1 meter per second. So as more and more myelin gets destroyed, impulses get really slow and cause the physical symptoms. Most of the nerves in your brain are myelinated, so that's the cause of the psychological symptoms.

Since your own immune system's attacking the myelin, it doesn't stop and there's no cure yet.
So MS is by far the worst.
