I liked particular scenes in the second movie, but I didn't like it overall because of the Neo-and-Trinity-showing-too-much-flesh scene.

Same goes with the third movie... I just like particular scenes...

So, I guess I have to say that the first one was my favorite

You can't say two was bad. With out it three would make absalutly no sense.
One sets the whole plot up. Most people were disapointed in three because neo did not completly win. And trinity died. It made me very sad.

i voted one, cos it was the only film which had a decent plot, and where the makers werent simply out to make an f-load of dosh. in my opinion the sequels by themselves were good, but were the worst follow ups possible to a great film

To be fair you can't blame this thread for being in the wrong place as If people would look at the thread creation dates before bringing threads up they'd notice that they were created before the board went into it's subforum form.

It will be moved though to Ents.

Oh yeah, I didn't notice the dates on the first posts. Matter of fact, I didn't even know they were shown until now ... ta

I put the first one because it is the first one, it opens up the idea of the Matrix and it also is the closing of the trilogy as well. It is both the beginning and the end of the trilogy. A good trick to do when you want your audience to go back to the first movie after all three have come out.
