...and I must stress that I don't specifically know the erg times of the currents Blues (Binya, where have you gone) but I woulde imagine you'd need to pull around/under 6mins for 2k.

I'm guessing thats about right.. although this year's times are perhaps slightly superhuman with all the olympians!

our top cluster of college first boat men are between 6.15 & 6.30-ish at the mo. (some ex-Nep-somethingorothers, ex Isis & potential blues in there..) some useless stats for you there.. :p:

Ventricles - there's also the women's Light Weights.. if you'd fit into that, for whom the times are probably slightly slower!

shall i stick a general *is not a rower!* disclaimer in here? :p:

what?? I was in the cp4 lecture, just a couple of minutes late  He was playing with his stern-gerlach models and 1 kept falling apart. I went from there to the cash point in turl street as there aren't any this end of town

sorry! That was v.quick cycling then, as I left the CP3 lecture straight away and cycled back and then saw you coming the opposite direction up Turl Street!

Apologies once again....must admit, I did glance round to see if you were there in his lecture, but I didn't notice you (but some ppl were blocking my view) and I thought I'd have seen you considering how empty the lecture theatre was...perhaps I looked before you got there. I thought his lecture today was the best one he's given! I didn't go to the one yesterday as I didn't learn anything on Monday, so I've started to teach myself QM, but I couldn't find anything about the angle of Analysers in any of the books, so I thought I'd go along today and I'm glad I did!

All the best ninjas are quick, that's how we avoid being seen, obviously. We've only been back a week and a half and already chloé hasn't seen me in 2 lectures I've been in

I also have a mechanics tute in about 20mins, going to have a quick shower first. I discovered I can't actually remember much/any mechanics which sucks, but my tutors really cool so he'll be fine about it.

Nick said he was a ninja because I haven't managed to spot him yet..

sure, or is it only for current oxford students? You all seem to know eachother...

P.s. i've started those rowers off now haven't I?

While we at it, which college would you guys say have the strongest sports teams (rowing and otherwise...)

Monii
well there are quite a few unis offering exactly what i want (though it's called differently) - and Warwick is one of them...I really really love Oxford but i'd enjoy *my* Business (or Managemt) with French more than econ&management

Wawick is a good uni, but i really didn't like the campus... it's so isolated and big... i would imagine you'll feel v lost there...
Argh, deciding which uni to apply for is so difficult~ how many are you allowed to apply?

I don't know much about most sports in general, other than Lacrosse where currently St Catz/Queen's seem pretty good - but it's especially variable from year to yera & a fairly fringe sport..

..but to give a one college-centric view for Magdalen:

rowing - very strong; Head of the River in 8s, men's 2nds with 6 bumps in Torpids; women's firsts beeing consistently climbing over the past few years; typically 3/4 men's boats & 2/3 women's
tennis - defending cuppers champions*
water polo - defending cuppers champions
ice hockey - defending cuppers champions
croquet - defending cuppers champions
football - cuppers champion year before last
netball - 2nd div*
rugby - 2/3rd div*
cheerleading - quite a few on the uni squad
hockey - no idea, but certainly a few blues/half blues
lacrosse - enthusiatic! :p:

those are the obvious ones i can think of! * = the more hazy memories.. am open to corrections
