I should eat more. It really depends what they have at the market and whether I can afford it that day.

What are these smoothies? I've never seen them before. Where can i buy them from? (not a stupid question, they could be for a M&S or something).

They do them in Boots, and I think Superdrug do them as well. They're really nice. Just liquid fruit and nothing else, but they go off quite quickly, as they have no preservatives in.

PS - read the label in detail - it's really funny!

i can eat a pack of oranges and apples in one day. I do it every week in one day,lol.hehe. Really I cant just leave it alone. I eat it straight away so there are none left for the rest of the week. lol, so I have to buy them at school.

i don't like it too much but i no its the right thing to do. I'll have a banana and shreddies for breakfast with fruit juice then an apple or 2/orange or 2 for lunch then an apple or orange or banana when i get back in the evening. Also appletizer, by the gallon, does that count?

It varies, normally at least one piece of fruit, but I always eat lots of vegetables and salad too.

Today I had 3 pears, an apple, 2 tomatoes and some pure apple juice.

I tend to be really fussy about fruit though, i can't eat it when it's too soft, I prefer it crunchy- even bananas

I usually eat 1-2 pieces a day... but I make up for it by drinking nothing but orange juice at work :p:

i worked part time at a supermarket shoving fruit and veg on the shelves for nearly two years, kinda get bored with them haha

i really should eat more, especially at uni with catered accomadation meaning all you eat is X+chips. i was tempted to buy a juicer/smoothie maker as i could make up drinks with various fruits to get them into my daily diet.

*makes shopping list for supermarket tomorrow*

I usually don't eat much fruit at all. An apple occasionally... i love strawberries! But can't get them too often... i eat a fair amount of veg though (nowhere near enough, i know, but oh well).

too much??

Watermelons, Mangos, Pears, Cherries, Strawberries, Apples, Oranges, Bananas XD... In Hong Kong it's alright I suppose...just wonder how i'll live when I move to the UK. Heard that they're more expensive and not as good, especially the mangoes!

Innocent rocks! I'm a big fan... www.innocent.co.uk... you can buy them in places like Starbucks and Sainsbury's too.
I eat about 7-8 portions of fruit and veg combined a day, I feel really unhealthy if I don't  Took a while to get into that habit, but so worth it.

Quite a lot!! I use fruit as a way of compensating for my lack of vegetable intake.

Reply 37

yesterday i ate half a pineapple :p: how many of the 5 a day does that count for?
I also drank some fruit juice and had a very healthy salad.

I eat two bits for breakfast, one bit for lunch, at least one vegetable at dinner and then some grapes as a snack.

So, five-ish - plus lots of fruit juice.
