Fatty me

um i'll try to avoid being the stereotype "omg im so fat" and i don't want sympathy to make me better lol.

i need to get in shape for holiday on the 7th july.
i don't think im like bloated, but i can be fitter.

i don't want a 6 pack lol but i don't want to look fat, more defined lol.

sorry this is so whiny, but iv started jogging/running 1/2 times a week, for 2 miles ish.

i walk to school everyday (well lol depends on wether i have the car or not! :P:smile: which takes me 15-20mins one way.

i prob eat too much....i try not to each too much choccie :rolleyes: and crisps :rolleyes:

can someone suggest a like regime for me??

Erm to stop hunger pangs drink water( sometimes the brain mistakes thirst for hunger.) Exercise just up it I guess. Sorry Im no use.

become a member of a gym club.do a lot of swimming. run in the mornings.you can loads of things really.Swimming will help a lot.

or tennis. I love tennis and so does publicschoolann.hehe

ok get a set of dumb bells. If you dont go to the gym probably 4s or 5s. And just do a few sets of curls and presses every other day. This will help to convert what you have to muscle (easier than losing weight) Swimming is good, obviously, as are most sports. easiest for people who aren't much into workouts might be just to play team sports like football as when you get involved in something like that you forget how much work it is and burn off energy. it doesnt feel like you're working hard. I couldn't say for sure how much use my ideas will be since the only time i was overweight (when i was about twelve) i subsequently grew six inches and turned into the skinny lad i am today :biggrin:

Also, drinking water, eating fruit + veg = v.helpful and if you want to suppress you're appetite in an irresponsible way, start smoking :biggrin:

get acid in a water pistol and spray it in peoples' eyes. That way they won't be able to see if you're fat or not.

you can't convert fat into muscle

the running is good, and when you improve after 2 or 3 weeks try doing it more often, say every other day. avoid chips, pizza, fast food in general, and chocolate and sweets, once you do this for a while you won't miss them at all.

if you want to gain muscle or look "toned" then get some weights and do some exercises at home, weighted crunches, reverse crunches, etc.

honestly? how much do u wanna lose weight?
if u want to really badly, ure gonna have to make some sacrifices.
u shouldn't eat any type of chocolate or sweets, cakes, u know what i mean. just think about how u will feel when u get thinner, and how bad u feel at the moment. SELF DISAPLINE!! if u must eat something, eat fruit or drink water/tea (no sugar/milk). but don't eat too much fruit, all those calories add up!
maybe u should do exercise everyday.
limit how much u eat at dinner and lunch. don't eat too many carbs!
don't eat after 7pm until breakfast the next day.
those hunger pangs are gonna b a part of ure life for the next few months, til ure stomach shrinks a bit, u'll have to deal with it!

if u wan the chocs, eat the chocs! you only live once so enjoy it. and instead of running all those miles and getting tired achy and sweaty, just chill out and watch some TV. be happy and therefore confident. it doesnt matter how defined u r unless you have a happy personality to go with it.

when i was at school i was toned and slim size 8-10, nice shaped. but my bf left me for a FAT girl who was FATFATFAT. she was FAT but she was happy, bubbly, fun whereas i was a bit boring, jus nicer looking.

so if being slim is something that makes you happy, then do it. but slimming implies you are not happy with yourself. just accept your body and enjoy life.

i dono if u r female but i think a nice size 14-16 non cellulity smooth shapely curvy body is alot nicer than a toned skinny one

it is easy to tone muscle up abit but very hard to do it after the first push personly i think it depends on the person who is excersising

Swim poshy! Best exercise you can do, if you can get to a pool tho, which is usually out the way...is for me anyway! Other than that walking is alright on a 'not gonna injure yourself' front, but does little an takes ages! Runnings good, can f*ck your knees though, but while your young your fine! and you can do it anywhere!!

you could also do about 50 sit-ups before you go to bed, and about the same press-ups...just have a little regime like that and it can do loads!

Can't do any harm...unless you pull something.

seriously itll do more than doing nothing at all, i started doing 75 sit-ups, press-ups and pull-ups a day in routine, but ended up forgetting and fell out of routine and gave up lol. i was only copying my mates routine anyway. he was trying to get as fit as he could to apply for the marines...hes still doing his routine everyday though, although hes upped the amount per day since then. Its not a bad habit to get into if you can keep to a scedule/routine, doesnt have to be before you go to bed, just a certain amount a day.

dont do this!! if you only eat protein (atkins diet ) you'll mess up ur heart and have relly high cholestrol. eat alot of carbs which may bloat you, but are slow release energy so you feel full for longer.high protein combined with normal stuff will build musle.

a MEGA GOOD HINT:::
EAT PORRIDGE

made with skimmed milk and oats in a pan, (not Oatsosimple/ready brek type) its sooo filling, you prob cant eat a whole bowl. its high fibre, low cal only downside is it tastes gross but u can add chopped apple/banana. if you eat this, you prob dont need to eat until dinner.

also, you CAN eat after 5pm. the body will use up the same amount of energy and store the same ampount of fat no matter when your body eats. its like Conservation of energy: calories in =calories out+calories stored as fat
no matter when or how u eat.

avoid fruit juice- healthy but quite high cal compared tyo sugar free squah.

avoid diet foods. expensive, taste shyt,dont fill u up

also, that situp thing is good, but there's 3 groups of stomach muscles- diagonal, vertical and horizontal (dono the names). if u only do situps u only use1 set of them which may lead to bulging outward shape belly, also beware that building muscle under fat layer may make u look biger. and another thing.muscle weighs more than fat so if u seem put on weight dats ok

i didn't mean eating only proteins as a diet - i know that the atkin's diet ios really really unhealthy...what i wanted to say was not to eat carbs in the evening and at night
