I have some info. on these.

Heard a couple of fools in tweed [in the Byre] discussing admissions, just so happened that at the time of my eavesdropping they were inviting in a new member. You have to be Catholic. They have no links with the university, over and above the fact the students are members of course.

They meet on Sunday on some-or-other lawn.

I have a breakthrough on Losab, apparently they are still active (according to many people) but no one seems to know much about them other than the brewing thing and that you have to be Catholic.

I was speaking to an alumni of St Andrews who used to be a member and he said that they meet every Monday night and that its 300 years old. He said he was kicked out of it but wouldnt say why. He didnt mention any link with the uni though. Does anyone else know anything?

there are a silly number of silly societies in this place.. you could probably write a thesis on them alone - they all claim to be old/exclusive etc when in reality they are just KK rejects - go and watch a meeting of eg the Kensington club purely for the lols..
