That happened to me the first time i tried, although it wasn't itchy afterwards. If this is your first time, it could just be because the hymen isn't broken and this could cause sex to be difficult or painful until it breaks (by sport/tampons/penetration). The itchyness may just be caused because things down there got stretched or whilst attempting to have sex, and it is just healing, like cuts itch when they are healing. If the itchyness persists see you doctor, as it could be an infection.
Next time, perhaps try vaseline or suchlike to make entering easier

I wouldn't reccommend using vasaline as a lubricant as it is oil based. Water based lubricants such as KY jelly are a lot better since they won't leave a really sticky mess that will be difficult to wash away.

Not to mention oil-based lubes can damage the condom.....

If you were using a condom, as lil_crazyflakes said, you're probably itchy because bits have been stretched etc. However, if you weren't using a condom... well, I'm sure you're aware of the risks... (and if not, there are plenty of stickies for you to read through at your leisure courtesy of lessthanthree)

Hope you're feeling ok, take it easy for a while x

You migt want to go to your GP to check if you have a latex allergy then, since sometimes you will not actually know that you have an allergy for years.

with the latex issue i found that for me I knew immediately something was wrong because it was so painful - kind of burning - that was how i knew i was allergic. That is not to say that you are not or are, you should check with a doctor, but the first time didnt wor for me either, you just need to make sure your very relaxed otherwise you tense up. (i did)

Alcohol may be a good idea, but not too much. Also if you are not necessarily PLANNING to have sex, it just leads from one thing to another you will be more relaxed and ready for it. It may also have something to do with the position you tried it in, as i found x
Ok, the first thing I'd say is try not to worry about it... I got really messed up after my first time (which was horrible, very painful etc) and it's just not worth it. I hurt for about 4 days afterwards, and said I'd go to the doctor after 5 if it didn't stop hurting. Not sure about the itchiness though  - if it doesn't go away soon, definitely see a doctor.
Oh, and as much as I don't like to rely on alcohol, it definitely helps until you can relax more (maybe after first few times)

what position was that if u don't mind me asking? we just tried it missionary style, and i think i always got kinda nervous and tensed up everytime we stopped to put a condom on...
i know we shouldn't PLAN it for the end of the week, but i know that's when we're gonna try again, i prolly shouldn't have the expectation, which will prolly make it harder for me, but i can't help it!

back on topic, in order to relax sometimes just making sure you are comfortable and quite horny helps! try not to get to worried about it the more you worry the more nervous you will be and so the more tense you will be, sounds hard i know. Sometimes putting a pillow under your lower back helps tho.

yeah, i really think i do. i fantasise bout it, sleeping with him, and have been thinking about this for about a month. i really really wanted to do it a couple nights ago, but there was something that made me feel all nervous about actually doing it...i still dunno what it is. my feelings haven't changed at all...i don't know what i'm scared of at all... but i think i still really wanna do it...

dont worry...first few goes are a "logistics problem", but your body will adjust. often the nerves are to do with that. a new experience, and the unknown worry of whether it'll all work and fit . the itching is probably just a reaction to the latex, lots of people get it (including males). it might go away, if not, just be moist and wash afterwards
Try a little "forplay" before having sex, it will help you lossen up and then you will really want to have sex like right then and there. After the first time or two you will think nothin of it.
