Balliol or Trinity?

I've read it. But I don't actually want to talk about you in a thread about Oxford colleges, I just wanted to know what you meant.

I am so sorry that I am inherently inferior to all you worthier beings; please accept my sincerest apologies for making a few comments in an “Oxford thread”, how very audacious of me. Considering the fact that you were the one who made a sarcy comment in retaliation to my initial post; indeed questioning something that was even more off topic than my original deviation, I rather feel it is you that should GTFO

Let's please keep the bitching to a minimum... unless, of course, you're slagging off Trinity, in which case carry on

[biased] Balliol! My bf is a Balliol medic; he went through a tough time in first year when he got ill and I think the college was pretty good about it, others might have kicked him out. And as other have said, Balliol is just generally great. [/biased]

Vis a vis study area's in Balliol - Balliol has some dodgy dodgy rooms. It also has some lovely rooms. It all depends how you do on the ballot in third year. First year you'll get the leftovers from whatever price band you choose - cheap ones are the fresher rooms in the 60s ghetto, fairly basic, like most unis tbh, more expensive ones are more likely to be leftover third year rooms, which might have bathrooms, study areas, sofa depending on how third year has chosen. Second year you live out or in Jowett, but rarely on the mainsite.

Balliol's bar is nicer and friendlier than Trinity's. Trinity's food is a lot better than Balliol's.
