Broadgate park...is it mixed sex? Kind of confused, someone please help.
Hi
I can't seem to find any solid information on broadgate. It all seems a little obscure to me.
Are the flats mixed sex,
will i be sharing a kitchen ect with girls and guys or just guys
in other words will there be just one sex on my floor...
I really dont get it...

I've heard that BGP are switching it to mixed sex flats from the forthcoming year onwards.

On the site it says "IF YOU WISH TO BE ALLOCATED WITHIN A SINGLE SEX FLAT PLEASE INDICATE THIS IN THE SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS BOX" - so assume they are already mixed sex, i just wanted to know if that means that i will be sharing with girls and guys or if that means i will be in a flat full of guys but the flat beside me will be full of girls.

It means you will be in a flat with both guys and girls, basically...

It used to be single sex flats, but mixed sex blocks.
I believe it is now mixed sex flats unless you specifically request otherwise.

From Sept 09, it'll be mixed sex flats unless you request otherwise yes.

I put down mixed sex, but when I investigated which block I was in next year they told me my flat was all males. But, my theory was that because it was not ensuite they would not mix girls/boys.

No at the moment, all flats are single sex, from Sept 09 they will be mixed. This is regardless of room type e.g. single, ensuite or shared bathroom.
