best accomodation at roehampton uni

hi, im starting at roehmapton uni in september but i need to apply for accomodation i was wondering what people thought of the best accomodation at roehampton. Im looking for one that is self catered and maybe has an en suite.

any suggestions??

Lee House at Digby and the accommodation at Whitelands are the 'best' in terms of being the newest and being self-catered and en-suite.

What about Froebel?

Froebel varies. The 'newer' blocks like Aspen, Willow and Linden are quite nice but I'm not sure if they're all open to undergrads - I think some are just for PGCE students. When I was at Roehampton the accommodation at Lawrence and Montefiore wasn't that great, but I think they've done it up fairly recently so it might be better. When I was there that was catered accommodation though, I'm not sure if it's still the same. Then I think Old Court and New Court are Froebel too. The're ok, quite old and odd shaped rooms but they used to be fairly cheap. I'm not sure if they're catered though.

I don't really know anything about the other Froebel accommodation, except to say that Templeton is off-campus, although it's not a great distance away. There's Garden Court too, but as I said I don't really know anything about that.

What's the accomodation like in Southlands, i've applied for an ensuite there as its where i'm studying the most i think.

Southlands accommodation is ok, if a bit small. I've been in a few of the rooms in Epworth and Aldersgate and they're ok, but they can be tiny - in some, for example, the end of the bed kind of goes under the desk, and the en-suites can be titchy. However, it's really not that bad, and it's central and handy for lectures. I think the only real complaint I heard about the Southlands accommodation was that the kitchens are small too, and you can lack a bit of a social space.

anyone know how Newman is? Everyone says Lee and Shaw are the best... :confused:
