Hm, as far as I'm aware St Andrews will are building a brand new medical school building for '10, just thought I should mention that.

It's been under construction for the last year... it's got windows now :yep:

I'm looking forward to it being finished.

Yeah it looks really nice. But it didnt really match my criteria, as it is utterly useless for clinical.

Aye well obviously. St Andrews has too low of a population and not a broad enough range of people for there to be clinical years - hope you've found a place you find suitable. I'm sure St Andrews doesn't have a lack of people wanting to study there. :smile:

I dont think any medical course in teh country has a lack of medical applicants. However, for my criteria, St Andrews is the worst in Scotland.

Mattbroon why dont you just leave the St Andrews forum when you think that its the worst uni for medicine.
Maybe St Andys isnt the right school for you because you dont like the teaching style or whatever but there are other people who maybe really love the fact that they will do their scientific foundation and their clinical years at two different places.
