Raindrops on roses etc.

One of my favourite things in the world is getting my hair cut. I went to Toni and Guy this evening and had a lovely conditioning treatment, wash, cut and blow dry, and my hair now looks great. It's about 4 inches shorter than it was before. I just love sitting there while someone who knows what they're doing snips away at my hair.

I can't stop touching it! Am I crazy?

A little

It sounds great! I love my girlfriend's hair when she's just got it styled. It smells heavenly and this vibrance.

That's great.

Most of my friends COMPLAIN about bad hair dos.

How much did it cost?

£30, would have been £35 but they send me money off vouchers because I'm a regular customer! Lol. The first time I went, the person who was supposed to be cutting my hair went home sick, so they gave me the choice of re-scheduling or getting it cut by a trainee. I had a big night out the next day, and I really wanted it cut, so after much deliberation I got it done by the trainee. Anyway, she was great. It took her ages because she wasn't experienced, and she was there cutting away until about 10pm. The place was shut and everyone else had gone home, but she stayed. The end result was perfect.

Anyway, the next day they called me to say they hoped I hadn't been too inconvenienced and to ask whether I was happy with the result.

Worth every penny.

Yes it seems like it was worth every penny!

£30 to keep a girl happy all day? I should send my girlfriend there when she's stressed!

I'm seeing a certain guy on Friday night. Maybe the softness and shiny-ness will make him suddenly feel he wants to run his fingers through it!

I hope so. It's been a while since he last ran his fingers through it, that's for sure!

No....it's not good! :frown: I want him to want me on a regular basis, even if I am going away in October!

I don't cut my hair very often - I can only really afford once a year when I shave it all off. Apart from that I just let it grow.

 really?

In India I got my hair cut. Was there for best part of an hour. The bloke trimmed it, rubbed this funny smeilling oil into my hair, attacked my head under the guise of "massaging" it and proceeded to give me a Hitleresque side parting. Oh and then started whacking my shoulders and back - again a "massage". I left feeling pretty bruised and battered and self concious about looking like I'd stepped out of the '40s, the whole thing set me back just under a quid. Quite an experience.

You've been ripped off mate. It shouldn't cost more than Rs. 20:wink:

No you're ot crazy at all. You have to look after your hair and you're right, theres nothing like stepping out of the salon knowing you're looking great

You can only afford £6 once a year???? A year without a haircut must leave you looking a bit unsavoury?

I got to Toni & Guy too. Which is a bit extravagant considering what I then do to my hair afterwards

However, the beautiful do deserve the best .
