Umm well you could wire it up to a transformer, then complete/uncomplete the circuit. That would create a higher voltage (if the transformer is set up correctly)...for a brief moment anyway. Hmm thats probably not the right answer, but it is one way.

Sorry, transformers only work on AC. Power packs are DC unless it's special :wink:

How do you get a power pack to produce a voltage of 5000V?

This is on my electricity revision sheet.
Can anyone help?

You don't! If you need 5000V you use a EHT supply (I guess you might get away with calling it a power pack)
