I need to complete accomadation form and was wondering when it says most rooms have washbasins in, what the number actually is and what the chances are of getting a room with a washbasin?

It's getting flattend as part of the redevelopment apparaently, so the blot on humanity that is Sorby Hall will hopefully not be with us for much longer.

Be quiet Chris
In answer to the original question - as far as I know, the only rooms that don't have washbasins are the 'suited' rooms (you get a tiny room containing your bed and wardrobe, which is attached to a larger room containing two desks which you share with another student). Not sure exactly how many of these there are in Sorby - on my floor there were 2, think this is probably about average. Didn't know there were any rooms without washbasins in the annexe but am sure nazbp is right - but I don't think it's many. So in answer to the question, the answer is 'most rooms have washbasins'.
Good luck in Sorby, it's really *not* as bad as everyone makes out!!
sorby isn't too bad...i promise! most rooms, aprt frm the shared ones/suited ones hve wash basins! sorby's the only hall where the "shared" rooms having separate bits 4 bed etc! all th other ones, as far as i knw, with shared rms is literally a shared room! think abt that as well!!! good luck..joei xx
