they werent "painful" when i was getting them. a little tender as the skin was forced aside but that was it.

I'm 18. Nothing was said about my age. It was on a xray that she saw them so I really don't know how long it will be.

I have two in a box at home and still have two in my gums!

I had to have the two lower ones taken out because they were trying to come through while my back molars were still in my gums, so they stood no chance.

Because I was only 16 the dentist couldn't believe they could possibly be coming through so I spent two weeks in sooo much pain on antibiotics for a "gum infection" before he finally did an x-ray and realised it was my wisdom teeth!

I had mine surgically removed when I was 14...boy talk about painful :frown:
It was an hour and a 20 mins long operation just to cut inside my gum by about 5 cm...and I spent about 1.5 weeks unable to talk, eat, sleep or anything else pleasant :biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:
