TBH I think most piercings and tatoos look really stupid - as if people wish to be a slave to fashion and commodity fetishism.

Thats a really stupid comment. I don't feel like i'm a "SLAVE" as you so eloquently put it to fashion and trends... christ ..i enjoy getting these things done and i think you really must have absoluletly nothing better to do if all you can do is come into a thread and play the "i'm so bloody superior card". Seriously , i've not been here long and i see you do it in other threads. In conclusion i think your comment was stupid and rude.

musicboy likes to complain...

i've only got my ears pierced... i don't really fancy having anything else done... they look cool though

Reply 4

Sorry , i didn't mean to go off on one. Some people complain alot i guess.
I have my ears done and you can get some really cool earrings for them which brighten a whole outfit which is good.

I've got my ears pierced twice, cartilage, rook, navel, tongue web (underneath the tongue), a tattoo of some stars on my lower back and a music clef on my ankle.

The tattoos are semi permanent, like the makeup that lasts for three years so hopefully they'll fade away to nothing when I get bored...

Btw good taste in tattoos

I love fancy earrings! Although, I went to fancy dress party as Princess Jasmine the other day, and wore some faux gold earrings which I think I am a little allergic to, because now one of my ears is still a bit sore and horrible.

But otherwise I have a star tattoo on my back too! I'm very fond of it - it was a birthday present from my friend Kate, who drew it and paid for it as a surprise (well, she told me before we went to the tattooist - telling me afterwards would be a less good surprise). I also have my septum, labret and tongue pierced, all of which are also nice.

Edit: I have an anti tragus piercing as well - forgot about that one.

I'm getting my nose pierced soon! Yay! At the moment I only have my ears pierced, which I'm getting bored with...

I want paw prints on my hips... I know it's tacky but I don't care!
I have my ears and belly button pierced

how much does tongue piercing thru the tongue hurt? has anyone got any comparisons to belly button or ear cartilage? reeeeeeeeeeally want it done! there's no way my parents would let me, but as I'm not at home most of the time they wouldn't see...is it easy to hide?

I reckon it's about the same as ear cartilage - although it's hard to compare. I found that it didn't exactly hurt, it was more a very strange sensation of something going all the way through my tongue. Well, it hurts a bit, but that's to be expected. It's not terrible pain though.

If you try and eat solid food for about a week after having it done though, that is terrible pain.

And about hiding it - put in inconspicuous jewellery and you should be fine. I've had mine years now, and I don't notice it much and nor does anyone else really.

Just my ears and navel pierced

Yes, you are yet to tell me why it's "stupid"

Repetition of conclusion 1.

Well, given that your argument had a distinct lack of reasoning I am wondering what to make of it. If you don't know how to structure an argument then I advise you not to use terms like "in conclusion"

To be fair was she starting an argument when she started the thread?

In my opinion, tattoos look kind of tacky on women. For example Angelina Jolie is so beautiful but her tattoos spoil it a bit for me.

Apparently on one side of my family I'm distantly related to sailors and hopefully, in my wildest dreams pirates!!!
