So the rest of us would have to wait an entire year? Pffffff....

Oops sorry, I am wont to dishing out negative rep on a random basis when I'm in a bad mood. It actually works quite well, which is probably quite sad. You should try it.

You're gona have to wait and see if you get decent kitchens next year. I can't really cook in the Wolfson ones (apart from on A-floor which has an oven). I get a really nice kitchen next year though in return for living out in the sticks.

Meh, I hate neg repping, :frown: I try never to neg rep, unless someone says something awful. Anyway…back to topic  when do we find out who our Tutors/DoSs are? What are Tutors like in general? Anyone who we should be wary of?

A person with great facilities will have to be included

Oooh, so what are the self-catering facilities like? If the food is crap I would probably be able to enjoy my own food more...Plus I'm quite healthy and catering places aren't usually very good for that.

You should have been interviewed by your DoS, if you don't remember who they are then just check the website to find out who the DoS for your subject is. You should find out who your Tutor is before they come up- they'll write to you once your place has been confirmed. You won't see very much of them anyway so it doesn't really matter who they are. I wouldn't say there was anyone to be wary of!

Mostly not very good although it completely depends where you are (e.g. I have a microwave and 2 electric rings in my kitchen- it's rubbish). I haven't seen catering facilities in all parts of the college anyway so I couldn't comment on them all. Blue Boar has particularly nice kitchens though.

Woo, I'm in... made my offer on Tuesday (in Denmark exams are oral presentation and you get the grade on spot)
Cambridge here I come... no more anxiety and sleepless nights. Part-ee!
Is everyone else waiting for results day in August (except for those with firm offers of course)? Must be terrible not knowing how you've done right away...

Hey congrats! Well done! I´ve also almost finished my Abitur and I have met the grade, too. However I still have STEP looming. Anyways, good that you made it in!

All you Trinity Classicists- I've signed up to do the faculty tours in freshers week so I'll meet you all then! Also; we had our annual Classics punting trip the other day- certainly something to look forward.

There's been a lot less drunkeness than I anticipated, largely because it's 30 degrees and I think I'd feel pretty rough if I was wasted in this weather, but also because I'm pacing myself, I've decided I don't want to feel rough all week.

Writing a blog is effort and I'm rarely in my room at the moment, however I might be able to stretch to something on Tuesday. Trinity ball tomorrow, oh yeah. Maybe a little blog of that...

Todays incredibly brief blog:

Last night went for drinks at Downing after their boatie dinner, lots of drunk men in blazers wrestling each other across the lawn and through the bushes. I got a little bit drunk, but not enough for a hang over thank goodness.

Today: went to the Wyverns garden party; watched people drink a lot, eat cat food, then puke all over the grass. It was delightful. This afternoon I sat in a pub and watched the cricket, and now I'm off for a meal with my friend.

There you go, part of a blog...
