To late to revise for my GCSES? O.o

 :woo: <-- this is me at the moment :p:

My Gcse exams are next week,
then i have a week off because of half term
and then the week following is the final week of my exams.:s-smilie:

I know you were ment to start revising I don't know, months before but that was really impossible for me as i spent all my time finishing my ART and Textiles C/w which was given in a couple of days ago and for those who have taken those two subjects you with know how much trees are killed in the process of completing the coursework for those two subjects

but i shall stop carrying on actually get on with my question.

In my mocks i got a 5A's and 5B's but i did no revision at all, but for my gcse's i would love to get all A's and maybe a few A*'s in there somewhere?

Is it still possible to start revising now and still achieve those high grades? and any last minute revision tips would be really helpful! :p:

thank you x

Its not to late, I haven't started it yet.
Well put it this way, I havent had any cw to do, and ive hardly done any revision :|

And I got my spanish reading/listening exams tomorow, so if I were you, I would start now, and just go over past notes etc.

Thats what I need to do now (:
Some people can get by with minimal revision for their GCSEs. I would recommend doing at least a few hours a day from now until your exams, so that you are confident with the material.

If you are going to do A levels next year, then you can't leave revision this late for them. But for GCSEs, you should be alright.

My friend didnt revise for her GCSEs and got 8A's and 2B's...the easiest thing to do is read your notes just before you go into your exam and pray your short term memory works...(she says)

i'm in exactly the same boat, i got 2 A*s, 3 As, 3 Bs, 1 C and 1 D in the mocks with absolutely zero revision - even the night b4 + i was really ill the whole week so i made some REALLY daft mistakes.

but even at this point, having done 1 gcse exam, the only subjects i've even revised a little bit for are english, maths and science. i'm seriously wondering whether i'll be able to cover the two history modules, 6 for graphics, the whole course for business (we've had basically no teaching for this one) and spanish over the next few weeks.

i'd say its better to start now and get SOMETHING done, than give up completely b4 exams even start - u never know, last minute cramming at GCSE seems to work for a fair few, maybe we'll be lucky? lol
Yes.

My advice would be to dump your notes and buy a couple of CGP revision books, and just read through. Look at the syllabus for each subject and focus on areas you don't understand

Unless the exam has already been done, it's not too late for it.

I think that the most effective revision is done closer to the exam  So basically it is not too late as long as you realise you need to start revising soon

Dont panic you've got loads of time. Honestly, just revise really intensely from now til the end and you will be absolutely fine.
Better late than never. Just do a few hours a day from now on.
When I did GCSEs I revised a little the week before, mostly the night before/morning of - I got grades between A* and C... also an F and a G, but that's because I didn't do the coursework for those subjects :p:

I think the word you were looking for was 'tip'. ;P
I left my revision to the last week before exams started last year, pretty much. I can't complain with the results I got, but I believe I could have done better had I put the work in earlier.
Should have learnt my lesson last year, but this year it's the day before my first exam and I'm only just starting my revision. Ah dear.
Good luckk!

urgh, art and textiles :/
i took both of them, aswell as drama which has a fair bit of coursework/final assessment prep. too.
i haven't really started revising yet either; i had my RE short course exam on tuesday, i did about half an hour's revision the night before and an hour and a half in the morning, and found it really easy.
RE short course is mostly common sense mind you, but there was quite a few questions i wouldn't have known the answers too if it weren't for that last minute revision
i'm sure you'll be fine
I didn't start revising for any of my GCSEs until 2 days before each exam and I did all right.
