Wowwww a whole day in the library and I miss so much! I'm guessing "Richard" isn't the "Rich" that I know then? In response to other things:

*I was indeed tipsy earlier on a v.strong pint of Pimms (my own fault for not drinking anything for ages and then drinking it very quickly) and did sit in the library for about 30mins feeling incrediably spaced out...however, as Shiny poined out to me, that would probably help with my understand of QM!

*I was indeed referring to the fact that I now have 2 college children...shame I've got two sons...always fancied a daughter myself. Anyways, if anyone knows a James (biochem) & Thomas (Physics) coming to Lincoln next year then you can tell them they're going to have lovely parents :biggrin:

Anyways, I'm about to start lecture 8 of 12 on Quantum Ideas (hey Keblites...do we need to know about Quantum Computing/Cryptography as I can't find it on the syllabus?). I have to get it all done tonight (grr why did I go and watch Comedy in the Quad for about 2hours earlier...oh well it was fun :p:

) so that tomorrow I can start actually revising (just been trying to understand it today and summarise notes).

Richard is different from Rich yes... Richard is my lab partner. And yes we have too many Rich's and so forth - it gets confusing.

Quantum computing/ cryptography. Well Ive never seen a question on it but remember its the lecturer who sets the exam so he could stick it in just to be annoying. Id say have a brief skim over it and try to understand it in case of an emergency need to do that question. But I wouldnt spend too much time on it to be honest. :smile:
