Hi,
Adverbial clauses are definitely something good to talk about, right up there in the B/A mark category thing.
Best thing I'd advise is to talk about subordinate clauses, separated with parenthetic commas, in order to add supplementary info etc. (I'd say analysis like that is probably higher-end answering).

Could also talk about non-finite or finite clauses - non-finite would be like ",jumping out of the car,", & finite would be ",after he jumped out of the car," these could be good to revise.

Hope I helped:smile: . By the way, are you currently doing AS or A2? How did you find the exam on yesterday?

Hi I'm doing A2 OCR; the last of the group to work with this spec.
And I had no exam
This last exam unit 2706 is a really late exam so I have plenty of time
yeh sub clauses are always on my list lol
oooh thanks about the non-finite and finite clauses - never really paid much attention to them

you are really good - what year you in?

:O year 12; you are really brushed up on your technical knowledge, i feel a bit patronised now lol - i couldn't remember the difference between non finite and finite clauses in AS, in fact i think i still can't lol - i have notes on them somewhere lol

Lol again thanks, I think its due to my teacher, she's reeeally enthusiastic about technical details & everything, which I suppose is pretty helpful,

What other subjects do you do by the way?

Maybe we do different specs or different exams?
I know my exam - well, at least what my teachers told me - is to focus more on little technical things like that & less on analysis, which i suppose is actually quite bad.

Who knows
