Right. Think I'll stick to being legal thanks.
Yes, the above method is certainly far from legal. Personally I wouldnt want to be looking over my shoulder. Having just moved into a house that was previously tenanted by post-grads who appear to have done much the same thing, I have had two visits from bailiffs looking for the previous tenants on behalf of two different energy companies, so it looks like they are less willing to write these off these days!!

On a lighter note, I get my gas and electricity from a company who offer a double the difference refund guarantee if they are not the cheapest. They also offer unlimited free phone calls across the UK and a cashback card that gets you 5% back on all your shopping.

My energy bills are now almost half what they used to be.

Funny. Everyone I know say that their energy bills have doubled, trebbled even.
Maybe because "the big six" main suppliers all put their prices up and the company I use didnt!!! It isnt rocket science.

To be fair (and honest) with you, part of that saving is down to them be a fair bit cheaper and partly to do with the cashback I get on all my daily expenditure. I save on average a further 5% on all my shopping at ASDA, Sainsbury's, M&S as well as petrol purchases, meals out to a few restaurants. It all adds up. I probably get £30-40 per month knocked off my bill just from the cashback so I think its a good deal.

At the end of the day, they GUARANTEE to be cheaper than all the other companies and if they are not they promise to give you back double the difference. I was sceptical too when I first found them but having been a customer for around 18 months I can safely say, they are a good company.

Have fun getting bent over and pounded for all your worth everytime they raise prices for no real reason at all.
