ahhhhh, ok will she get used to it?

Nicotine rush if she's not used to it? I used to smoke quite a lot, but gave up in December. I accidentally have a cigarette every now and again now, and just one makes me feel a bit light headed now, and I can't usually finish a whole one  because I used to be able to chain smoke all afternoon...
Incidentally, if she's only just started smoking, try and convince her not to. It's such a waste of money, and makes you smell and cough stuff up in the morning. Ming.

Yes, she'll get used to it when her body becomes addicted. She will always be craving that nicotine rush so will always smoke more and more to achieve it and will probably, on more than one occasion wake up with nicotine sickess which to me was always like a bad hangover.

Yeah then she'll smoke more and more to get the same hit and then she'll try something else and before you know it.............

Reply 8

Easy way to solve that, stop!

Getting use to it, the point of smoking is to get that rush is it not? And when you don't get the rush, what's the point, it becomes something you have to do, like a chore!

I enjoyed it but then my clothes stank and I had to wash them which irritated me.

Of course it is presumptuous but it happens to lots of people. It was a large generalisation.

Tell her to stop smoking such crappy tobacco. :p: I personally smoke a pipe, though, so I consider all cigarettes to be 'crappy tobacco'.

I don't get why i'm not addicted to smoking. I've probably been smoking about 5-10 cigarettes a day for the past 2 years, yet I can go weeks without smoking and not feel like I 'need' to have a cigarette, or feel any side effects at all. I reckon I could quit tomorrow and never smoke again if I wanted to, I guess i'm lucky or something.
