haha thanks, I was thinking of starting a thread asking for opinions, but what will that do for me, and what fun for people who may have been rejected from both warwich and cam... also, it is I and only I who can make this decision, and sure - its really hard, its been in my head for months (although I didnt receive my last offer until yesterday), i have been hypothesising... its especially hard for me coming from sweden (where warwick is practically unknown compared to cambridge)... but warwick holds the better course - for me as in my character. eh...
what would I choose? the course at warwick holds a passion of mine - writing and could be really important for me as an aspiring writer (taking it with a pinch of salt here), cambridge is cambridge though and a degree from there will be so much more recognisable back home, and collegiate life might be a great experience, it might not. Nevertheless, the course at warwick is one of the hardest courses to get into in the country (i think i will be repeating that beautytalk to myself as I choose warwick).
Its a big mess, and I feel like im just mumbling on. but I have to say warwick. Because of the course. And although people won't know it when I mention where and what I'm going to study - I feel it's better - for me.
I will probably be kicking myself whatever I choose, sooner or later, but come on, to quote the great swedish/dutch trubadour cornelis vreeswijk, "medborgare om etthundra år, finns du ej längre till..." - what does it all matter in a hundred years?
and for us scandinavians - "vem bryr sig om hur nätterna far, jag bryr mig inte ett spår, bara jag får ha mitt ansikte kvar - dolt i min älsklings hår"
