Coursework Grades?

What grades/marks did you get for your coursework in each subject (& what board)? (I know they're not final, as they are sent to be moderated/checked).

Here's all I can remember

OCR:
Business Studies- 57/60
Maths- 37/48
French- 76/90
German- 86/90 (not been internally moderated yet)

AQA:

Science- 51/60
DT- B (not sure what mark)

Edexcel:

Geography- 57/63

English- Speaking and listening 41/54
Reading and writing 85/108
English Literature- 47/57
German- Dunno the mark, but a D
Food Technology- a B i think

Edexcel
Geography- was 35 or 38/63 or whatever mark it is out of
Business Studies- 34/36- being externally moderated
Maths- I can't remember the mark, but a B for both pieces
Science- Chemistry- 22/30, think i got it up to 24 though
Biology- Never got my mark back
Physics- 14/30, all marks came from the planning part. hopefully it will get moderated, as i am sure it has been undermarked

We were never told any of our coursework marks except for English, food technology and media studies :mad:

And the only other subject where we were told the grade was maths.

Biology: AQA

25/30 = A/A* ?

Chemistry: AQA

29/30 = A*

English Language: OCR

19/20, 20/20, 20/20 = 59/60. A*

(Not sure about speaking and listening but I know I got a high A)

English Literature: OCR

45/45, 38/45 (a bit sh it because I did it last minute!) = 83/90 A*

French: AQA

20/20, 20/20, 20/20 = 60/60 A*

Geography: AQA

30/30 A*

History: OCR

45/50 = A*

Maths: Edexcel

43/43 = A* (chuffed coz I'm crap at Maths!)

PE: OCR

10/10 A*

Physics: AQA

21/30 (my shittest one ever, because I did it at 2:30 am the day before deadline!)

I did good on them all really, but I put in a lot of effort. :smile:

They're not worth that much though. :frown:

I dont know about exact marks English and Maths but English was all B Grades ( :frown:

) and Maths was one A and one A*, but here are the ones I do know, and yea I done really well in coursework, and im really really pleased about them, hopefully ill do just as good in exams!

Anyways, im back to revision now, dont want to f**k up the exams after all the effort.

Well done on excellent coursework marks! I take it you're Science ones are getting sent off to be moderated? What board are you on? We were told that it's nigh impossible to get 100% on the Science courseworks and that it's looked at as highly suspicious if you get it!!! lol. So my chemistry has got to be sent off for external moderation (I got 29/30).

But well done! Those are great. Especially, as I've just said, it's meant to be really hard.

Im not sure about moderation. The school said they have moderated it and came up with these marks, but I probably think they will be sent off to EDEXCEL. Another kid in my class got full marks on Biology, Chemistry & Physics!!

Erm. I hardly know any coursework scores. Maths, I got 2 A*s. Graphics, an A*. History 2 A*s. French, I think 1 A and 2 A*s. Well done to everybody's excellent coursework scores :wink:

Science AQA = 59/60 = A*
History OCR = 47/50 = A*
English lang and Lit AQA = 50/54, 50/54, 48/54, 44/54, 42/54 = B/C (plus about B in speking and listening) = overall B
ICT CEA = 95/100 + 46/50 = A*

Stats Edexcel - 787 22/24 A*/A?
History Aqa - 48/50 A*
Geo Aqa - 28/30 A*
Germann AQA-module 3 cwk speaking and writing - 72/77 A*
English lit and English lang - dunno, the teacher said it was an A
ICT edexcel - he hasnt marked everything, for unit 3 got full marks.

roughly how well do you have to do in the actual exams to get A*s, if you have got good coursework grades (that are in the 90-100% range)?

Ergh, annoyed. We have rubbish teachers for Science and I handed in all my coursework. Before the last one was marked I had 52 marks which was an A and 54 was an A*. But, as the Biology coursework was just improving certain areas, I haven't improved, it is just so infuriating that I am 1 or 2 marks off an A*. There isn't really any point asking if I can improve any other area? I think I heard the courseworks have been sent off too.

I think that's it from what I know. Maths was sent 2 the board so we get those with our results for the exams. My speaking and listening was something like 37/40 (I think), all I know is that is was an A*. Spanish (AQA) was part of a module which I got a B for.

Oh god everyone got such great coursework marks. Well, here are my crap ones:

Science: 49/60 high B (okay, I'm so not a science-y person)

English: A*

Music: Apparently full marks, but my teacher is incredibly biased.

Art: A*/A (pushing the boundary - now its all up to the final book)

Classical Civilisation: B (flat out)

Geography: no idea, but I'm sure it's a B.

There you go. Crappy marks galore.

^To be honest they are good coursework grades, at least they are grade C's and above though. You got the exams to push your grade up too.
