How to revise Paper 1 - English Language AQA?

Heya, thanks for reading this.

For the AQA GCSE, Paper 1 for English consists of two sections, A and B. Section A is usually comparing two unseen media texts. Section B is writing to Persuade, Argue and Advise.

How can I revise for this. I have revised for section B, by looking at what I need to put in my writing and remembering them, so I can tick them off as I do my test (ie metaphor, personification and list of three)

How can I revise section A or B further?

Thanks...

Learn the rhetoric techniques (triplets, hyperbole, rhetorical questions etc) and where they would be implemented, maybe read through a magazine and look at the adverts and try to analyse them, that's what I was told anyway, hope it helps :]

Nope, we were told that the texts are random, and can be anything, one is usually a media and other non fiction though.

:s-smilie: We got a pre-release... but Im not sure everyone does them. I would tell you what they were but that isnt really fair to people in your school/anyone else with a pre release.

Weird...
