Ive brought cooking utensils, kitchens are empty i think. Problem is you end up with 6 bottle openers, and 6 caulinders lol

lol the advantage of living at home
I found and old bottle opener/corkscrew/penknife in my bookcase the other day, that might come in handy!

I've got most of my stuff now, just need to get some crappy Asda saucepans and whatnot

Everyone here seems a lot more prepared than I am! I haven't even looked at pots, pans, mugs and all that...also lost my reading list for the IBAM course...great, I haven't even started the year yet! If anyone is on the same course, I would be grateful if you could send me a copy so I can at least have a look at it...
Not on the course, but as for mugs and stuff, just go to Asda or Wilkinsons, it's all really cheap!

Ive got everything apart from the proverbial kitchen sink. Space bags are great btw, makes it a lot smaller.

Im going down on the 24th.

I'll be moving in on the 24th too if I get my act together, haven't seen my accomodation yet but from the booklets, Lakeside looks decent
I'm in on the 24th too, I've only seen Stafford from the outside and then I wasn't really paying that much attention coz I didn't realise I'd be living there.

id say dont buy books until youve started youre course. They are expensive and you may find cheap ways of getting them second hand from old students or the guils second hand book shop. Some books you might not need much so you and a coursemate could agree to share particular ones.

And yes you DO need utensils and stuff for eating with / off lol
