I eat well over 100grams a day protein, makesure you get alot of fibre too

Why do you do it?

its healthier then what i was eating before, which was tons of crisps and buscuits, and chocolate.

woah, u sure? i just ate 16 surimi (250g) and that only had 7.3 grams of protein in it.

you're not skimping on other foodgroups are you?

Eating protein in excess won't do you *that* much good.

i eat more veg then i used to before. and the main things i stick to; bread, rice, and chips.

im just giving you an example of what is in the food groups

2 pints of milk - 28g

2 chicken breast - 42g

steak - 41g

can of tuna - 30g

can of beans - 14g

=145g ish

yeah... you are supposed to take it before bed, slow digesting.

it isnt that bad lol, wholemeal bread has like 6g per slice aswell

I've eaten around 48+ surimi and 3 eggs this week, and was wondering if other people did the same.


nah... I think my diet is ok. It's mostly fried vegetables (in olive oil, which is dead cheap here in italy), bread and goat's cheese. Oh and fresh fruit and salad :wink: . Got to get those vitamins somehow...

i would eat tomatoes - but theyre way too expensive in sains, 6 for £1 something. and i got sick of drinking olive oil, and went back to veg instead.

High proteion diet - also known as the Atkeins diet. It is one of the fastest way to slim down but the effect will not be long term. And there is high risk in getting cancer (prostate, colon, breast, etc.) Well, i'm not trying to say that protein will give us cancer, but is the way we cook it and the amount of intake. So if u wana try the high protein diet, avoid deep frying, less oil, etc. (you guys should know this.)

P.S: A well-balanced diet is the best. Slim down? Eat less, Exercise more.
