I've come up with an invention that could help Jamie Oliver's school dinner plans. Sometimes it takes ages for the canteen staff to chop vegetables quickly. In my invention two blocks of wood (one under the other one) with parellel blades attached to them. A handle is positioned at the top of the top block of wood and when a carrot/piece of celery is placed in between the blades and the top block of wood is slammed over the bottom block of wood the blades slice through the vegetables giving loads of even slices (as there are loads of blades coming down on the veg at once) without having to chop each slice individually. The drawing iv'e attached is really crap and basic and you might not be able to make out the squiggly lines but i'm no drawer...sorry
