I've got 3 months of Summer coming up and want to make something of it.

I'm getting a job and doing as many hours as I can to cheer up the bank account.

So far my list consists of increasing my German skills, learning basic French and doing voluntary work, hopefully.

Has anyone else got any interesting ideas that they have done/want to do?

My list contains much of the same but I'm also thinking of writing a book. I've been saying for a long time I can so there is not a better time to do so. But I'm also going to Chicago for a few weeks and I play a lot of cricket over summer. What about taking up a sport?

I did consider writing a book, I've got what I think is a really good idea, but I have no idea how to go about doing it, any help?

I'm going to France for a couple of weeks.

I'm not much of a ''sportsperson'', well, I guess I just haven't found the right sport yet, I could do running or swimming.

What about tennis? That's a good summer sport, you can join a club and meet new pepole or play for free in local courts in a park.

What's the really good idea?
A child raised by the internet/television either as an experiment or because of neglect from his busy parents, like how television has become a babysitting service for kids. So yeah, how he has grown up and based his morals on the media.

I wish someone else had done it or something like that, I just think it sounded like an interesting read.

Any ideas for yours?

If you know what career you want to go into, do something in that vein, i.e for medicine do work experience, in various hospitals, gps etc, make the most of this time. Do volunteer work to pad out your CV or get a part time job and just enjoy you summer not that the other ideas aren't enjoyable
