Margaret Thatcher was a man in drag, everyone knows that.
How many times has that been said here recently? I used to use that as often as I could.

I would defo back the Tories with Captain Boris of the Johnson at the helm!

He picked up another 4500 votes since 2001! The guy is an A1 Lege!

...come on, lets make politics interesting.

Althought I'd rather castrate myselt with a rusty nail than vote Tory, if Borris became next leader, then I'd certainly consider.

He wouldn't bother with all that "piffle" about Iraq...he would have been on horseback throwing spears at Suddam himself .

LOL I'd love to get borris in... doubt it will ever happen tho - and I guess I would b maybe even more scared by the thought of him being in any position of importance mind you... still feel safer with him than tony blair or gordon brown hehe

Boris has personality and that seems to be one of the most important things that Joe Public judges.

Plus he's just a generally cool guy, anyone read his motoring column in GQ?

Right, a letter is winging its way to him to try to persuade him to stand.

I just emailed him asking, very politely, whether he plans to stand in the Tory leadership contest, pointing out that it would massively improve his party's popularity amongst the younger voters. If everyone sent a similar email, he might even consider it.... so go on...

mmm boris, maggie, my Linds and myself...
