That was like in our English mock, some people didn't turn over the page, they lost 40 marks out of an 80 mark paper!!

Godammit! Are Edexcel really gonna be hard this year?! Crap.
It'll be a damn shame if they make it hard this year, I wanted a good grade! I thought last year was really hard, it was around 46% to get an A but the exam was almost impossible for some people. Naturally wouldnt they make it easier this year, but a higher grade boundry?

I don't understand some exam boards, they seem to be a bit inconsistant.

Okay whoa! I missed 8 marks and I was upset about it... 40... wow. On the up-side, now I know I'm not the only one that misses pages.

I don't really mind if it's a hard paper - it means I'll do badly yet still gain a good grade!

You mean because the curve'll be low?

    Yup.

I'm pretty good at maths...doing it for A level next year.

It means that if there are some really hard questions, I can actually know what the hell theyre talking about and get some marks for working, if not all of them on the hard questions. The boundaries will be really low because the paper will be hard and I end up with a nice happy grade

    It may not neccesarily.

It is hard to guesstimate the grade boundries as there are so many factors the Exam Board have to consider.

Edexcel are a pain though, Luckily I only take one course with them.

Yes, there was 2 sections, Section A and Section B. Some people didn't turn over to Section B, which is worth 1/2 the paper! At least it wasn't the real thing!

Didn't it say on the front of the exam, answer in both Section A and Section B?!! Surely if there was only one section, they wouldn't bother labelling it Section 'A'?!

Yes it did and on the bottom of Section A it said "Turn over for the next questions!"

Before revising any subject, go to the nearest wall, and do a handstand for 2 mins, this will cause all the blood to rush down to the head, enabling better concentration.

Also drink plenty of water while revising

Hence the appropriate dubbing of the board's name to EDEXHELL!

I just take History with them, they don't seem to be that bad....or is it just Maths that they're a bit weird with?

I do Music with them, and the number of stupid questions on an exam paper is unbelivable!
