My dream ambition is to be a Fitness Coach at a Football Club and as far as I'm aware I need Exercise Science in order to achieve this.

Applied Sport and Exercise Scientist
The purpose of the job is to provide biomechanical, physiological and/or psychological support to assist sport performers and coaches. Current employers include the Home Countries' Sports Institutes, the British Olympic Association and university departments. Commercial sport performance and sports medicine centres also provide specialist support on injury treatment and prevention, sport specific assessments, nutrition and conditioning.
I've just completed my HND Fitness, Health and Exercise. I' applied for Exercise Science at Stirling, however got offered Sport Studies instead in return.

My Options:

Year 1: Sports Studies at Stirling (Link: States at the bottom that a combined Honours degree can be done with Sport and Exercise Science, whatever that is?)

Year 3: Exercise and Health (Link: States that *for those interested in further study, Masters degree programmes are available across the UK in areas such as Exercise Physiology, Strength and Conditioning and Exercise Science")

Stirling looks awesome, I'd much prefer to go there for both my eduction and the experience. Although I don't want to loss three years of my life and want to do whats best and do what will help me in the direction towards my desired ambition.

I'm lost, confused and in need of some assistance.

In year 1 of Sports Studies (Semesters 1 - 3) The core modules introduce: aspects of sports in society; patterns of participation in sport and physical activity; the foundations of sport and exercise science; and aspects of sports business, finance and management.
Only an introduction to the foundations of sport and exercise science.

Could someone explain, a combined Honours degree and a master degree programme.

I'm still very unsure on what to do and with it being an important decision it's not making things any easier for me.
