I'm more of an action kinda guy. Parables and whatnot don't suit me :p:
There's plenty of action  but hey.. its quite a big book. I can see why you might find it hard to get through.

I :suith: books. When I redecorated my room I didn't buy a wardrobe so I'd be able to fit two bookcases in here. I really have no room for my clothes.
The last book I read was Das Zweite Land by Asta Scheib. I'm currently reading The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver. Both are extremely good.

Ummm... I'm not sure... fantasy has made up a lot of the books I've read I guess. I also used to love Goosebumps. Unfortunately I doubt they'd have the same effect on me now I'm all grown up. Yeah, I'd say fantasy was a main one. I like a lot though.

My deadline's 3rd May. And my offers are unconditional (gapper like yourself) so I just have to pick one. Considering going on the Durham Open Day (got my offer yesterday!) but I think I'll be going to Bristol, it's amazing.

Last year I put Durham firm. But after reconsideration.. this year I was going to go for Bristol if I didn't get Cambridge. Durham's a lovely Uni, but I didn't really like that part of England much. Whereas Bristol is such a wonderful place to be, Uni or no Uni.. Anyway.. Open Day should be fun

    Congratulations on all those offers!
