I think men should be a bit hairy. I don't get why body hair has become so offensive. Obviously no one likes a gorilla, and if we're talking down below, trimmed is good, but bald? Eurgh...
Same applies to women actually. Everyone likes nice, smooth, hair free legs and underarms, and again trimming is good, but shave it all off down there and you look like an eight year old.....or a plucked chicken.

BLOKES! - why is the myth guys prfer it totally shaved???
It itches when girls do it, so I'd assume the same would be true for guys. It's thicker than leg hair, which is probably why it itches more when it starts to grow back.
I don't know why your underarms don't itch though...
