    Hey people!!

    Is ne1 else doing A2 psychology with OCR, im sure im the only 1!
    If u r how r u gona prepare for their exam?

    I have already done it.. i did part a (describing notes) inc names of psychologists for each of i + ii + iii, and then evaluated (a) as a whole (which fits part b of the exam)

    "a) Selection of people for work:

    i) personnel screening and psychometric testing;

    ii) types and pitfalls of selection interviews;

    iii) personnel selection decisions.

    then repeated this for each of the eight or so sections for each option

    Basically learnt all of it whilst writing it out and evaluating it

    Im doing Crime module this June. Did environment in january and got 100/100, so hoping for similar success this time.
    Basically i just learn as many studies as possible, around 80 in detail last time. That works out at about 10 studies per section so roughly 3 per subsection. The absolute minimum is four studies per section (so 24 in total), as in section b part (i) of the exam, a range of studies need to be described.

    Furthermore, if you look at past papers, section b part (i), which is worth 16 marks (nearly a third of the paper) is always the same. Always of the form, "describe studies into ..... one of the sections e.g. police and crime". Therefore, i make an essay plan for each on the eight sections on how to answer this question.

    Hope this helps.

    I have Crime and Health back to back on June 17th. I really want to do well but I'm nervous about it I will be listing names and studies but my evaluation skills need work.
    And good job on your environment exam lucky number 8.
