Help with german listening

I h8 german listening and i can nvr get the vocab in ma head have you got any tips for learning it. :confused:

Try doing vocab tests every week - i'm doing A2 and our 'annoying' teacher made us do them every week - but it got me a lot more vocab!!!

I found the Euronews German site a few months ago. The way the site works is that they have an article (all text) and then they have an accompanying streaming video (with audio of course). This is just fantastic for German students! Because.. what you can do, is listen to and watch the video report and try to pick up the words and vocab and get a gist for the story. Then you can refer to the article(the text) and see what you missed! And you can replay the audio again and again if you like as with the real thing! And the really great thing is, all the reporters are native German speakers and often speak incredibly quick like the speakers on the listening exams!! :p:
