Northen Ireland GCSE's

Is the GCSE's the same in Northern Ireland as in England? Im in year 10 in Northern Ireland, im 14 so i dont know what that would be in England...
I gonna be doin Music, Drama, History, Double Award Science (I was gonna do double award applied scince - which is more practical, but appartently double award normal science is harder, so im gonna give it a wee go.)
I kinda worried about doing music, i love music sooo much but i think it will be hard.
Also i have been thinkin bout goin in2 teaching when im older. I told my vice princible this n she thought i was a bit mad because i pick History with Drama and Music, but Im still confused on what I should do.
So ne1 who is lives in NI and is in Yr 10 / 3rd Yr / Form 3 or whateva ur skool calls it, and is starting there GCSE's nxt yr, share your thoughts in here!!

You wouldd have to improve your grammar a fair bit before becoming a teacher

Most exams are slightly different from the english ones...because they're on a different exam board, but it depends on your school, as I know some schools do take the english boards. But I would think the courses would be broadly similar overall, with only small differences to make everyboyd even.

I didn't do music...but from friends who did as long as you have a talent for music it's not too hard.

yes the GCSE's are the same we had this discussion with our teachers at Holy Trinity College in n.i and well ur vice can be as confused as they wanna be cause its our decision not no one elses and music is a great subject  doing it myself and doing my GCSE's next week so good luck with your decisions and go into teaching also drama and music helps 2 as many teaching colleges are extremely competitive in northern ireland like st marys and stranmillis as it gives you better options  xoxo
