Operational Research at LSE?!

I am currently doing my M.S. in the US under a NSF grant, and basically from India [23, m]. I received scholarships to do my phd in operational research at cambridge and lse, and chose lse. But...i have seen not even 1 post concerning OR anywhere in the forum:frown: If someone is currently connected to the OR department at lse or elsewhere in anyway, can you please let me know how good the dept is? Also, if someone can comment on the job pros. of OR grads in UK, it would be grt! I will join lse this september, so if anyone can give info on the best accommodation for postgrads, it would be heaven:smile: I have previously researched and taught at warwick business school for 1.5 yrs but know absolutely nothing abt living in london

I know I am asking a lot for the first post  Sorry and thanks.

i ll be doing an UG course in OR from LSE.

LSE s the best in OR in UK as it has the longest history in teaching.

tho, its department is very small
