Geiriau Cymraeg

Mae hen wlad fy nhadau yn annwyl i mi,

Gwlad beirdd a chantorion, enwogion o fri;

Ei gwrol ryfelwyr, gwladgarwyr tra mad,

Tros ryddid gollasant eu gwaed.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cytgan:

Gwlad, gwlad, pleidiol wyf i'm gwlad.

Tra mor yn fur i'r bur hoff bau,

O bydded i'r hen iaith barhau.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hen Gymru fynyddig, paradwys y bardd,

Pob dyffryn, pob clogwyn i'm golwg sydd hardd;

Trwy deimlad gwladgarol, mor swynol yw si

Ei nentydd, afonydd, i mi.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Os treisiodd y gelyn fy ngwlad tan ei droed,

Mae hen iaith y Cymry mor fyw ag erioed,

Ni luddiwyd yr awen gan erchyll law brad.

Na thelyn berseiniol fy ngwlad

I had to learn welsh until I was 16. Wasn't much fun-

dydw i ddim yn hoffi cymraeg achos mae'n sbwriel.

That was one of my favourite phrases to say to the teacher she didn't like me much (she was really, really pro wales/pro welsh whereas im kinda anti welsh). Welsh meant I couldn't continue with french- basically because i'd have otherwise done 3 languages at GCSE. (I did spanish and welsh).

HAHAAH that actually made me laugh. I had to do it to GCSE too..English isn't my first language so I didn't actually have to, but stupid pro welsh people don't tell you stuff like that do they! Still, it's a language under the belt, however useless it is! Dw i ddim wedi siarad cymraeg ers wneud y TGAU!

Mae'n Ddifflas - I'm not so good
*insert name here* Ydw I - I am *Name*

Mae hen wlad fy nhadau yn annwyl i mi,
Gwlad beirdd a chantorion, enwogion o fri;
Ei gwrol ryfelwyr, gwladgarwyr tra mâd,
Tros ryddid gollasant eu gwaed.

Gwlad, Gwlad, pleidiol wyf i'm gwlad,
Tra môr yn fur i'r bur hoff bau,
O bydded i'r heniaith barhau.
