I am an overseas student with decent grades...6A 3B at GCSE...and 4A 1B at AS....and 4A predicted at A2....i applied early with oxbridge and have already got offers from some universities...however i am still waiting on LSE for economics....does this mean i have been rejected? would they mind if my personal statement wasnt specific to economics? As i applied for engineering courses as well, my personal statement was focussed on engineering and economics...however universities such as imperial,UCL and warwick didnt seem to mind and have offered my admission.

No, it just means that they have not replied yet. Some unis take a lot longer than others. Assuming that economics at LSE is very competitive, this may explain the longer wait.
