Little bit nervous.........
Been away for past few days (Scotland) and been planning my proposal to boyfriend!!! I'm really rather nervous but also excited. 
We're going to Venice for a few days in 5 weeks time and I'm gonna pop the question then, I'm pretty sure he'll say yes (we've discussed it loads and we've been together for 2 and a half years).
Just needed to get it out as I can only tell my best mate as everyone else has big mouths and they'll gab!

He's not! My screensaver at the mo is a tiffany diamond and I think thats got him thinking he cant afford it yet! May go for something to eat and then some wine and then maybe a walk somewhere. I wanna check out some places around the city first before i def do it.
My mum is desperate for us to get together as she moves to Oz in Sept and she's worried about me being on my own. My dad will be thrilled that he'll no longer be fiancially repsonsible for me (yeah dream on dad!). His mum and dad will be cool (though they did have a big talk with him about whether he was able to accept he would never have children of his own if he stayed with me) and one of his sisters really doesnt like me but bloody tough!

He bought me an eternity last year engraved with the day of our first kiss and it was gorgeous and I really like that idea.
All in all I'm not 100% sure whether to give him a ring though.

I so wouldnt ahve been ready at 18. As I told my mate I've done the single life and lived it up, I want to settle and I can relly do that with boyf and not being able to share stuff with him would make life lose the sparkle.

Hey,congrats! My BF and I got engaged in Nov last year and it was great (On th London Eye infront of loadsa people LOL) and I think its excellent that you want to ask him! I would definitely get him a ring - I think it shows you've thought alot about it, and I'm sure he'd be touched hat you've picked it out...........
be warned though, be sure you get the ring size right, or keep the receipt and check you can bring it back to be changed - we had to take mine back twice cos it didn't fit!!
