i will see what the place is like when i go up there tomorrow for an interview. a friend doing biology is going to give me a guided tour around the place beforehand!

Why would you find it intimidating? I go to an international school where there isn't anything even approaching a dominant nationality and I've got to say that the atmosphere is about as far away from intimidating as you could possibly get.

Is there any current LSE students here as i want to find out what grades they achieved at GCSE and their Predicted A level Grades. Also, what offer were u given at time of acceptance???

I was placed on an "internal short-list" and haven't heard anything as of yet.
