Harsh Love!?

Ok heres one for the girls, explain this please.

I did my D.O.E Gold with a group of 6 girls, for the whole of the preparation and the actual trip i got on well with everyone apart from one girl who would treat me like utter 5h1t. Anyway so the days passed, DOE finished. Im going out with some of the girls for a night and i get asked " so when are you asking her out"...... Asking who out? Youll never guess who liked me all along. Anyway point is, why do girls who like a guy pretend to hate him or act like they do. How does it make them in any way more attractive by treating them like complete crap? I actually was worried as to like what i might have done to make her feel that way...lol

Maybe its just to keep the attention on her?

i don't think these sorts of things are gender specific though - we are all individuals after all.

lol omg!!! i think its only younger/immature girls who do that. they don want ppl to know they like u and by hating u the get u to notice them?

Yes, I think she is young and immature. I wouldn't ask her out if I were you, even if you like her.

If I like a guy, I act friendly and smile and talk to him lots......it ain't rocket science! :p:

Reply 4

yea me too. she's clearly too young for a relationship. i mean, say u went on a date with her acting like a b***ch, whould either of u enjoy it??

I know when I was a young teenager, and not very experienced with love, I did sometimes act like I was annoyed by the boys I secretly fancied. It was to keep the secret safe, so that no one could find out and tease/reject me.
as people grow up, they learn that theres nothing wrong with being nice to their crush  but even in the most secure couples, and flirtations, you will sometimes see anger and irritation, because attraction makes people frustrated with themselves and the person they are attracted to. having a crush is a wonderful time but its also infuriating and confusing, and sometimes we strike out at the very person we like, for making us feel so mixed up. This girl sounds like she hasnt settled down and become very calm and mature yet, but she may do, if given time.

edit: however the last guy i liked was my best friend for 2 years, and i eventually got up the courage after months of he likes you/you like him speculation, to say "so david are we ever going to go out or should i just go find a random girl to kiss"...his reply "i dont know cat"...then i got a txt saying to him the next day and he made me wait that whole day from 11am till 6pm before he finally asked me out, to whichi said no you smell and then kissed him.

moral of the story, boys are equally as mean. though im always nice to my crushes

she was 19 at the time and i was still 17, i would have expected it from like a younger girl but i just thought 19 would have a different reason lol.

Because some idiot told them 'treat 'em mean, keep 'em keen'. Of course, with me it's 'treat him mean, never see him again'. I don't have time for stupid games.

generally this behaviour is only when there's other people around/before the crush is revealed. so i imagine if they ever went on a date she would be nice as can be!

Can you not write in "txt spk". It makes your ideas incomprehensible as well as incoherent.
