Can't believe she's using me!!!

Just a bit of a rant, there is this girl i like, i let her know this a few months ago and she said she likes me as a mate at the moment, we are still good friends.

anyway i was in work today and we are about a week away from pay day. i was on my lunch with her and all of a sudden she asks if she can borrow money. i asked what it was for and she said she wants to go out tonight on a night out she's been planning with her friends from college. i said no, because i'm pretty short on money, and if it was for a legit emergancy then i probably would lend it her.

rewind a few weeks back, i was out in town and she asked me to come to see her in one of the bars. when i got there she talked to me for about 2 minutes then dissapeared for half an hour, when she got back she got off with some guy right in front of me. this ended up in us arguing for a week or so.

back to today and she wouldn't stop goin on askin me to come out with her tonight, sayin "if you come i won't ignor you like last time", i told her no because i was tired since i'd been in work since 5 and then asked if the reason she wanted me to come out was so i would buy her drinks all night and she said no. after a while i got annoyed at the constant pestering and i ended up tellin her to **** off if she thinks she can use the fact that i like her to get money out of me. i felt bad for sayin that after a while and just as i was going home i told her to text me later to see weather i'm going to end up going out or not.

i'm unsure as to weather she actually genuanlly wanted me to go out or wheather it was just for her to get drinks bought for her, she seemed pretty upset after i shouted at her.

sorry for the long post, but i'm so confussed and angry that she would even contemplate doing this.

It's a tough call, when you're drunk you can do stupid stuff like abandoning your friends, or them abandoning you. So perhaps the alcohol was to blame a few weeks back. On the other hand, she does sound like one of those girls who would just take advantage of you, unintentionally or not.

To be honest I would have probably reacted the same way, I'm presuming she hasn't texted you and you are not going out tonight then :p:

Just go to work on Monday and act as normal as possible I think.

yeah she hasn't text me, but the nights still young, i'm half expecting a drunken call at some point tonight. and nah i'm not off out, just a few quiet ones relaxing with my mates, way too tired to be out till daft o clock in the morning lol

haha i know there are a few mistakes, i'm an engineer, after years of constant maths i find the easiest words hard to spell lol. i really should start to use a spell checker more often :p:

well she didn't text me and i didn't get the drunken phone call, so she either found some other sucker to buy her drinks or she did actually want me to go out and i've upset her by shouting at her :confused:
